Kaleb King: Live at The Lyric
Kaleb Scott King was born in 1992, he grew up in the small town of Woodland, Georgia. Kaleb always loved music and was heavily influenced to pick up the guitar after listening to George Strait's greatest hits on repeat on his long car ride to and from school every day. He learned how to play guitar when he was 10 years old and he hasn't put it down since. Kaleb started playing around Columbus, Ga in 2009 before making the big move to Nashville, TN in 2012 fresh out of high school. Kaleb moved back home to Georgia in 2015 before the birth of his first daughter, Whitley. While raising his daughter he also played shows and opened for many artists such as Joe Nichols, Cole Swindell, Mark Wills, Gary Allan, Keith Anderson, Chris Lane and others. Kaleb is passionate about being an original artist and telling his story through music as well as connecting with his audience.

Matt Clements Trio: Live at The Lyric
Matt Clements is a guitar player from Montgomery, AL. Since 2014 he has been an active member of the music scene playing with great local jazz artists and working in musical theatre at ASF. He graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in performance in 2021 and currently gigs all over the southeast playing many different styles from jazz to bluegrass. The Steel City Jug Slammers are an authentic American Jug Band from Birmingham, Alabama playing pre-WWII jug band and blues classics as well as weaving originals of their own. The Band is Ramblin' Ricky Tate, Jerrod Atkins, C.W. Medders, & Washtub Jay. The Steel City Jug Slammers were inducted into the Jug Band Hall of Fame in 2017 and featured on NPR's A Prairie Home Companion in 2015. The 2025-2026 school year marks a golden milestone for the Marbury Northstar Band - 50 years of music, tradition, and community pride. This year's 120-member ensemble represents the heart of Marbury's musical legacy, encompassing the Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Basketball Pep Band, and the most iconic of all, the Marbury Northstar Marching Band. 30 of the top members of the Northstar Band will are planning a heartfelt tribute to our community's veterans with a special one hour concert of patriotic musical favorites.
From the roar of Major League Baseball crowds to the pulse of NBA arenas, the Marbury Band has proudly represented our school and community on some of the nation’s biggest stages from Atlanta Braves MLB Games, Atlanta Hawks NBA Performances, to Talladega Superspeedway Showcases and Country Music Hall of Fame performances. Charity is an old soul from the small community of Hope Hull, Alabama who has been taking Nashville by storm in resent years. She has performed as a solo artist for numerous years and was a touring member of Sweet Tea Trio. Inspired by the classic artists, Patsy Montana, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton, and the more modern artists, Martina McBride and Miranda Lambert, one can certainly hear the reflections of the old and the new in her voice. Charity has said “Country music runs deep in my soul. Music is a way for people to hear the truth. Sometimes it tells us truths that we don’t want to hear.” With a God given talent, Charity continues to dedicate herself promoting the music that she loves. Blackbird Pickers Live at The Lyric
Blackbird Pickers is an Americana roots band based in Prattville, Alabama, blending a rich mix of bluegrass, country, folk, and rock. Formed in 2010, the band brings together four multi-instrumentalists with deep Southern roots and a shared love for storytelling through music. Fronted by Michael Baker (guitar, vocals, mandolin, banjo, harmonica, hi-hat) and Matt Strickland (guitar, mandolin, banjo, harmonica, vocals, kick drum), the lineup also includes Jarrad Glover on five-string upright bass and Theo Pinson on keys, melodica, and snare drum.
Drawing inspiration from legends like Bob Dylan, The Band, Hank Williams, Elton John, Robert Johnson, Tom Petty, and countless others Blackbird Pickers craft songs that feel both timeless and raw. Their 2013 album Ellisville showcases this blend — rich in harmony, steeped in Southern truth, and driven by stories of small towns, heartache, and hope. Stephen Barrett, born in 2002, is fairly new to playing publicly, but has had a blast branching out and growing in central Alabama. His love for music began at an early age with a wide array of music played regularly at home… there was always music playing! He is an “old soul” with a passion for older music, especially of the country genre. He grew up in Elmore County and graduated from Wetumpka High School in 2021. Some of Stephen’s greatest influences in music include Keith Whitley, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Randy Travis, Vince Gill along with a few favorites from right here in Alabama, Hank Williams, Sr. (and Jr.), Riley Green and Muscadine Bloodline.

Fents The Band Live at The Lyric
On opening night at the Lyric, Downtown Prattville will be full of food trucks and pumpkins for the kickoff of Parade of Pumpkins, and The Lyric will have games, live music and fun for the whole family ready to go!
Joining us on opening night will be the band called Fents who is one of the hottest college bands touring campuses across the Southeast today. Fents is an alternative rock band whose sound is defined by a raw, unfiltered blend of gritty guitars, atmospheric synths, and emotive vocals. Hailing from Birmingham, AL, the band channels a mix of influences into their uniquely introspective sound. Since forming in 2020, Fents has been crafting songs that resonate with listeners on both a personal and emotional level.
Their debut album, Astrophysiology, released in 2021, quickly gained attention for its standout tracks like "Love Games" and "In My Head," earning them a growing fanbase and critical acclaim for their ability to merge catchy hooks with complex arrangements. In November 2024, Fents dropped their highly anticipated sophomore album, and the record is a bold step forward, blending their signature style with fresh sonic exploration. With tracks like "Grey" and "Stranger," the album delves deeper into the complexities of human connection. All in attendance are in for a very special opening night at The Lyric.
